A haven of peace in Kirinda. It was the perfect spot to unwind after busy travel days, beautiful pool and garden, delicious food and comfortable and clean accommodation. We stayed in the bungalow next to the pool and it was nicely appointed, good air conditioning and lighting. Shaluka the manager was very attentive and is a great cook!
You can do safaris to Yala from here as it’s close to the park gate. Also walks along the wild beaches are nearby.
Featuring garden views, V Cabanas & Yala Safari Place features accommodation with patio, around 2.6 km from Tissa Wewa.

I had a great stay. The room is spacious, clean and quiet. There is a balcony to enjoy nature and reading. The internet is working well. The family is so helpful and always available. They organized the safari for me and brought me to a restaurant and the bus station. I can definitely recommend this place.

Nice clean rooms. The location was not what we expected, not walking distance to anything and felt very isolated because there's only two rooms at this accomodation so there was no atmosphere at all. The walkway down to our room from the road was also very dark and a bit difficult to navigate through a garden. The owner charged us for the water he gave us alongside the breakfast that was included but didn't tell us it would cost extra until the end. His English wasn't very good so it made it difficult to organize things with him.

Nirosha and Kasun provide a wonderful home from home, including a surprise birthday cake and celebration for me when we arrived. Kasun had already been our driver for a week, and accompanied us on a safari in Yala - a real bonus as he is a wildlife officer there. We also visited a nearby archaeological site that Nirosha helped excavate. The food was exceptional - plentiful and delicious. Especially welcoming for our teenage son - it was hard to leave!
Offering a garden and lake view, Jungle Cabin - Bundala is located in Bundala Levagamgoda, 11 km from Bundala Bird Sanctuary and 18 km from Tissa Wewa.

Nice property. Dulip the host did a good job in making us comfortable at the homestay. He is a starting entrepreneur managing the homestay on his own. He is the host, the manager, the chef, security, housekeeper...... Does all of it himself as a starting business and does a good job in ensuring his guests are comfortable. Included Dinner and breakfast were awesome and the portions were generous, sufficient for 3 meals rather than one. The room was spacious with lots of sitting space outside as well. The property has a pool and lake view.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
The garden , the pool, the sense of peace and especially the hosts.Shaluka the host full of energy and enthusiasm . His home cooked curries were the best we have ever had . Just amazing and we at home have curry four times a week .Wonderful food great host so helpful . Trust him he’s good and genuine .
Fantastic location for exploring the national parks. The host family were absolutely brilliant- helping with any questions and cooked the most amazing, nourishing food. Great fridge in room! Excellent pool.
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable homestay tucked away in the heart of nature. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by surroundings, all the beautiful details and the tranquil ambiance that enveloped the entire place. However, what truly made our stay unforgettable was the mesmerizing encounter with a resident crocodile. Karin and Santha are the loveliest hosts - it felt like family and we can’t wait to come back!
Nice homestay with an exceptionally friendly family in a residential neigborhood. Offers Safaris for a fair price and has eyes like an eagle when it comes to spotting animals.
