This is a very cute and comfy small hotel. We got a free upgrade and had a nice view of the mountains. The staff are wonderful and the breakfast is delicious! It's a short walk to the main attractions and there's a great restaurant and bar (Themparadu) very close by. Highly recommend staying here.

The hosts were warm and really nice to talk to. They welcomed us with tea and biscuits, and were accommodating of all our requests. Although the bedroom is a bit small, there is a nice communal living room with lots of seating and a dining table. The temperature was low at night even during the summer, and there was more than enough bedding available. Overall, a very comfortable stay.

We had very bad luck entering Nuwara Eliya but we were extremely lucky that we booked in Woods Hut! Owned by a lovely family and they made our stay unforgettable and we wish we could stay longer! An amazing fresh cooked breakfast was prepared for us!     Our favorite homestay in Sri Lanka without a doubt. We spent four perfect nights at Prosper’s house, it is clean, well equipped, great breakfasts and dinners, spectacular views and great evening conversations, good starting point for Pekoe Trail Stage 3… but most importantly, amazing people ❤️ we will miss you Prosper, Suba and Blackie!

    Prosper was a fantastic host. We are walking, hopefully, all stages of the pekoe trail. This was the perfect place to stop after a hard day. It is simple but perfectly comfortable with a wonderful view. We had several hours of lovely conversation with prosper and the lady who helps him manage the homestay. This is exactly what we wanted from a homestay - enjoyable interaction with a local person.

    The location was wonderful, overlooking the tea plantation and reservoir. Only a 10 minute stroll to the plantation factory. The breakfast was, by Prosper’s admission, simple. What made this home stay for us was meeting Prosper. He was the kindest man and although we only stayed 1 night it was like leaving a friend when we said goodbye. We can’t recommend Glenloch view highly enough

    This was the perfect stop after hiking Stage 3 of the Pekoe Trail. It is right next to the Trail before town. The view is fantastic, it is quiet and an ideal place to relax and recover. We had a hot shower and a good night of sleep in the comfy bed. Prosper is your host and a true gem. He will make you feel at home immediately. He helped us having food delivered to the Homestay, made us some tea and a nice breakfast in the morning and organized a tour on the nearby tea farm.
