We stayed at Kurumba lodge for 2 nights and couldn’t fault our experience. The homestay is situated in a beautiful area of the national park, we were able to see so much wildlife on our doorstep. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner all made fresh by the family. The night safari that they took us on was amazing, we saw a wild fishing cat (very rare), elephants and crocodiles.

Super friendly host and great food. The room was clean and equipped with AC, fridge and coffee making facilities (Nescafe). Very close to Wilpattu national park. Our host suggested to arrange our safari and we were not disappointed.

Beautiful setting and lovely, comfortable rooms. We enjoyed delicious home cooked Sri Lankan food. Rishwan was a helpful host and arranged a safari at a reasonable price. We had to travel to the further gate due to flooding but it was worth it as we saw 4 leopards and a sloth bear, countless birds and other mammals in this beautiful park. A walk around the area surrounding the accommodation is well worth it. There is lots of bird life to enjoy.
