I chose Ruckas Muiža for our accommodation in Cēsis because it's a historical manor (and I'm interested in both history and old architecture). The manor is located in a park so it's a very quiet place to sleep, despite being within a walking distance from the town centre. Hotel guests can freely use the manor's library room and orangerie (which was a nice place to enjoy our morning coffee). Our room was very spacious and elegant, and the overall atmosphere was very relaxing. Coffee machine in the room, with beautiful porcelain cups, A++

Spacious, quite and sunny apartment on the second floor of a private house. Separate entrance, parking. Kitchen and bathroom are well-stocked: hair dryer, iron, electric cattle, microwave, electric stove, small electric oven, refrigerator. Water in the shower does get hot if you wait a bit, don't panic. There are no curtains, so it gets light in the morning early, but the hosts provide sleeping masks. There is WiFi. The TV has Tet+, smart box where you can login to your account on YouTube, Go3, and such, or use a flashdrive. Also has a good spot to work comfortably if needed. City center is about 20 min away by foot, there's a bus stop nearby. If you have a car, there are good parking spaces in the city, so it's easy to get around.

We liked everything. Very clean, good location, everybody were hospitable and helpful.

Good energy, authentic feel. I liked the interior aesthetics, you can see that a lot has been done to combine the antique manor house layout with modern amenities. You can also walk the grounds of the manor house, very peaceful.

Lovely location, overlooking the river and central to lots of the local tourist sights. The optional breakfast was absolutely exceptional, made with fresh, local ingredients. Very warm and friendly hosts.

Well-equipped kitchen, refrigerator, fireplace, sauna, huge terrace, barbecue facilities. It is located in a great location, close to nature, romantic. We had the best sleep here during our trip to the Baltic states.
