Offering bed & breakfast accommodations in Mahébourg, Chillpill Bed & Breakfast features an infinity pool set with a sun terrace in a large garden.

Our spacious family suite with balcony had such a beautiful view, bedroom windows in a semi-circle with an 180 degree view of the bay and Indian Ocean, and a separate living room. Cute furnishings and a good shower. The large balcony, well furnished with cushioned chairs, loungers and a table, also had bay and coastal views. Nice to sit there in the breeze and look out at the activity in the bay. The entire place is charming, with a nice little swimming pool right on the edge of the water. The buffet breakfast was satisfying. Air conditioning in the bedroom worked great, as did the free wifi. Location is excellent, close to airport and easy walk to dinner restaurant Chez Marilyn which we can also highly recommend. The town of Mahebourg is lovely, walkable, not a big city and not mainly for tourists. Great place to stay at end of a cruise or for longer periods. Chillpill is not a beach resort but we were not looking for that. Next time we'll stay much longer. Their pre-arrival communication put us in touch with Manoj who took us on island tours for two days and also picked us up at the port and dropped us off at the airport.

Very comfortable room in a great location. Very accommodating hosts with a good breakfast and the option to rent a bike which was great for exploring the area. The terrace and common lounge made it much more homey, nice to have space outside.

Steve and his family's warm hospitality and presence was the good thing there, otherwise I wouldn't have stayed at this place. This place may be good for bag packers but surely not close to perfect holiday stay for a family.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a fantastic apartment that truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained the space was. It was evident that great care had been taken to ensure everything was in top condition. All the amenities I could possibly need were provided, making my stay not only comfortable but also convenient. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches that made the apartment feel like a home away from home. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning in the future. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great accommodation experience—without any hesitation!

    Amazing hosts, very friendly and generous. They went out of their way to make sure you have everything. After 16 hours flight, you want something very close to the airport and experience the way the locals live. The restaurant/cafe nearby specialising in Chinese boulletes is just very tasty and lovely green chilli paste which is freshly blended, to die for. Will definitely come back again and stay at your lovely place which is so homely ❤️

    A charming guesthouse. It felt like coming home with the lovely hosts Peary and Connie. Connie provided us with so many tips on what to do in and around Mahebourg, organised a guide to travel around the south and did so much more for us and the other guests. It was a great stay and we plan to be back on Mauritius thanks to them.
