CanadaWe didn't know what to expect at Arthur's Pass Lodge. However, our stay here turned out to be a highlight of our trip to the South Island. Helen is a wealth of information, a great host, excellent cook and baker and just a pleasure to be around. The views from her place are excellent, and the ambiance there was truly remarkable. I would go back through Arthur's Pass just to stay here again.

She made a delicious salmon dish for dinner and fresh home made bread for breakfast (among other selections).
