United StatesThe grounds were beautiful. It was more of an air bnb. Breakfast was on your own with cold cereal or toast. There were items in the refrigerator, but wasn’t sure what we were allowed to eat. No one was around. The room could have been cleaner. Drawers needed to be emptied and vacuumed. When we attempted to pull out the sofa sleeper there were items and dust behind the couch. Walls are thin. Could hear snoring in another room. We weren’t familiar with the area and would have liked some info.

United StatesVery clean , peaceful and quaint with nice period touches and beautiful flowers. Fresh eggs and other breakfast options a nice benefit. Best value so far a month in on our trip. Better than the photos. It made me nostalgic for times past in a very good way.

The property is in short driving distance to Mt. Taranaki Visitor centre and also to start of York Road entrance to the national park and other amenities.
