The host was incredibly friendly. I arrived by green Ceres bus. I got a free pickup to the huts - no walking needed. As I arrived at night, I was very happy when I was offered some chicken with rice freshly prepared. Hospitality from the heart. Recommanded - the huts were clean and location perfect next to the beach and close by the terminal.

The room was big, clean, and had a seaside view, which is something I really fancy. All I can say is that I will definitely be coming back soon for my next holiday. The owner was very accommodating. To Suzette and Sir Darel, thank you and see you soon.

The place was in a quiet area just 15 mins of walk from south beach. Room was excellent, very clean, spacious, front terrace to the garden area. Aircon also available. Hot water and drinkable water as much as you like for early coffees😊

Sooo clean, very nice. The space is good and very quiet which is hard to find in malapascua. No hot water but that’s normal and expected.
The staff was very kind and the laundry service the best price on the island.the inn is probably the furthest from town almost you can get in malapascua, so you need to plan. We personally favoured this for the quiet and lovely walk daily.

Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
The host family is super friendly and nice. Made some small breakfast for us and dropped to the pier because we had heavy suitcases with us.
We did late check in and it wasn’t a problem for them.
The room is simple but spotless clean and dry. The nice restaurant is next door to the lodge. Property is located next to the bus station and very short walk to the Maya pier.
I stayed here for 1 night during a cycling bikepacking trip around Cebu North. A lovely Homestay with very friendly and hospitable hosts Darrell & Susette. Spacious room with 2 big beds and bathroom. Stunning views from their living room balcony of the beach and neighbouring islands. Darrell is really knowledgeable about the area, we had a great chat. They will prepare tasty food from their menu on request which I recommend, there are not many options in Tapilon. Great location for access to Maya or Daanbantayan.
