Beautifully renovated gracious home. The room was spacious and the location quiet.
It’s an easy walk from here to the center of town, the river and walking trail.
Irene, the owner, is friendly and welcoming. She also speaks excellent English for those of us with limited Portuguese. Our stay was wonderful.

This place is really a class act! Rooms are mighty clean, spectacular breakfast, super host, the pool incredibly clean, etc…
Fantastic to the point I will come back before Xmas. Our group was delighted with the experience. We have cooked in the kitchen which is gorgeous. All needed was there. Congratulations to Julio and family to deliver to that standard.

The guest house with washer and dryer was wonderful! After a long hiking day on the Camino we all needed this downtime. Our hosts were so warm and friendly. Couldn’t have asked for more!
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
This is a magical mountain house, with fantastic views across the valley, it's been immaculately converted, into a beautiful house, but still keeping all the wonderful character of the original house.
There are several stone maze stores the area is so famous for, right next to the house.
We loved watching the goats, sheep & cows being taken out each morning to the fields & then back into the sheds at night. The locals were super friendly. Wonderful walks straight out into the mountains from the house.
The houses are brand new, adapted from old watermills. Clean, spacious and fully equipped. Surprisingly well insulated, as in you don't even notice that a river is flowing beneath you.
The setting is beautiful, in between vineyards and away from major roads, so you get all the solace of the Minho countryside.
Good sized pool.
Mr. Carvalhas is a great host and will go out of his way to make sure you have everything you need.
Sandra and Antonio were great hosts, looking after our every need. They brought us some bottles of wine, and the vegetables and eggs from their garden were really appreciated. The house is beautiful in a lovely, quiet, green location and the large swimming pool was fabulous to sit round and relax.
