Nice spot with excellent breakfast. It was too cold and wet to use the pool but we went to the museum nearby and walked down to the harbour.

We booked for 1 night initially, we ended up staying 3 more! Don't look any further, this is where you want to stay too! Everything was exceptional, from the house itself, the rooms, the hosts. It was like being at home. Leo and Ni have decorated the whole place with exquisite details. The breakfast is lovely and if you don't have time for it they will pack it to go. Any info you are looking for, Leo and Ni will give it to you. Beds and pillows are super comfy, super clean, kettle in the room with tea, great showers. The house is located centrally (everything is central in Ponta delgada) and next to a great restaurant. Parking is free on the road outside the guesthouse. We really enjoyed our stay there.

This house is darling! The house itself is both historic and fascinating - an oasis in the city centre. The rooms are comfy and modern.
The breakfast was very good. And the hostess went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
I loved the location of the place, it's in a village near Ponta Delgada and you really get a feeling you're one with the locals.
Jose, our host, is incredible. He thinks of everything, you will have everything you need at hand and if there is any kind of problem he will always be there to help and recommend all the best places to visit. Highly recommend!
