The breakfast was adequate, limited selection of food. Did not cater for special diets. Location was a little too far from the town centre and beach ferries. Used our car more than we expected.

Our hostess could not have been more friendly and helpful, with ideas and information about the surrounding area. We were welcome with a pack that included home made jam and fresh eggs laid by her chickens. The kitchen was very well equipped and the appliances all worked well. The bed was roomy and comfortable. There was a hot tub available for our use.

This Casa is my casa, we loved our stay in a Beautiful old Portuguese house. Very large room with large separate bathroom. We could use the cozy living room and kitchen . Marta the landlord is a perfect host and she makes your stay the best possible. We will definitely come back. Also great breakfast and great coffee.

The building is beautifully restored with a lovely outdoor are and pool(we only stayed one night and left for airport early so did not swim but it looked lovely) the decor is classic genteel Portuguese turn of the century - very light and airy.
There is a bar area and staff were very attentive and helpful . Parking is off site in the village.
Pension Bicuar is situated a 1-minute walk from Olhão’s waterfront and offers a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Algarvian mountains, the Atlantic and the Ria Formosa Natural Park.
