The accommodation met our expectations - it is a very quiet location and you are surrounded by greenery. The accommodation itself is very basic but totally suited our need. The Creole breakfast was excellent and the host and hostess were very friendly and helped us with everything. The south of Mahé is very deserted - we were alone on the beaches. I can only recommend it.

We chose this chalet as it has an interesting jungle location, very good grades and a suitable price in the Takamaka area. Adam and Merlin (owners of several chalets in the complex) were friendly and open to advice and to help us (we were welcomed with juice and a huge plate of fruit, one day we were booked into a restaurant, we were also helped to get out of the jungle when we went on a trekking trail to Capuchins beach and got lost). On site, there is a swimming pool with clean and warm water which was very nice to swim in with a baby. We were also offered lovely complementary breakfasts for 15 euros (free for children under 12). We stayed at this hotel on Christmas Day, and were given a (free) Christmas dinner and gifts (this is something of a wow - how can this be). We felt like we were visiting our best friends who appreciated us very much. The great atmosphere from the owners and staff is unbeatable. We stay in an average of 50 different hotels a year (both private villas, houses and 4*-5* hotels) and in most hotels the owners or staff treat guests like water, not doing anything out of the hotels bounds, with strained smiles and standard requests (this is normal). We felt like long awaited and valued guests at this hotel. Fully recommended, a magical experience and unbeatable value for money where quality is so much more.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful villa near the sea, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. The highlight of the stay was definitely the spacious terrace with panoramic views of the ocean – I spent every morning lounging there, enjoying the sea breeze and watching the sunrise. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the living area was cozy yet stylish, perfect for winding down after a day of beach activities. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Location-wise, it’s good in case you have a rented car because it is on the hill and it might be tiring to climb without a cr The staff was incredibly responsive and welcoming, especially Musonda. She provided me with great local recommendations, ensured I had everything I needed for a smooth stay and made incredible coffee every evening. If you're looking for a picturesque and peaceful seaside escape, this villa is the perfect choice.

PROs: - the location is fine: there is a beach nearby, shops and restaurants if you have not rented a car - free parking in the yard of the hotel - the room was nice, clean, especially the view to the ocean CONs: - the breakfast was kind of average: the pancakes, the beans seemed to be bought and they forgot some items in the last day - there were some flocks of hair on some towels

We loved it so much!! It was the best apartment out of all the islands (we stayed in a total of five different apartments). Everything was super clean and all equipment was brand new. We were staying here for 10 days and have been very pleased! Comfortable apartments: fully equipped kitchen, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, high-quality dishes. Spacious and comfortable bedroom and bathroom. Very cozy area - beautiful garden. The hostess Lynda was very hospitable, friendly. We’ve been treated to local fruits and delicacies. She provides a bus card for use, and responds to all requests very quickly. An important detail for Seychelles: the villa is located on a flat area; there are two shops and a vegetable market within walking distance. This is a great place for hiking and enjoying stunning tropical nature. So "Orchid Sunset Guest House" – the best villa for an amazing holiday in such a paradise!
