Wonderfull silent place to see the Aurora from your terrace in front of the lake. We saw it!!! Cozy, clean comfortable cabin with everything you need, better than a hotel. If you need a peacefull place to stay that's the best place for you. Very nice owners. Thank you for the beautifull experience.

Stay in general was good, everything was fine. Neighbourhood was ok, a bit far to the center. Kitchen and living room is comfortable and Sauna is great.

    We had a modern and well equipped cabin with a great big bed! Beat restaurant in the whole city and locals seem to know it as it was almost full for dinner. Breakfast was super also, but no wonder as the restaurant is so good. Location was peaceful, and close to city even if the city now doesn’t have much to offer as is being re-urbanized.

    We had a wonderful stay at Hotell Samegård. It felt so homely and warm, and our host was super helpful. She let us store our bags even after check-out and was such a lovely host. It was very interesting to learn about different aspects of the Sami language and culture from the various posters hanging in the walls of the hotel. The museum in the basement is a must see to learn more about the Sami and their lifestyle. Would highly recommend to stay here! Thank you so much for your hospitality 🙂

    Good hostel-type accommodation (i.e. don't expect too much) Breakfast was basic, yet decent. Communal kitchen was very functional, useful and clean (incl. pots, pans and cutlery). Staff was helpful (readily changed room, when initial room smelled of cigarette smoke). Rooms were basic, yet functional and clean (beds could be pushed together to create impromptu double bed). Heating was good, incl. hot water.

    Beautiful cosy cabin quite near to the lake with romantic flair. If the weather conditions are perfect, you can easily see the Northern Lights. Johan was a great host and is a good source for any recommendations/activities. He is always keen to make the stay as comfortable as possible.
