Jozef and Vera are such nice and kind hosts who made my stay really memorable. The room is very bright, clean and spacious with a super comfortable bed. The shared kitchen and bathroom are also clean and equipped with everything you need. The area is just magnificent and Štrba itself is quiet and a bit away from the tourist hotspot of Štrbské Pleso, which is still easily reachable by car or bus. The bus runs every 1-2h and connects Štrba with the train station and Štrbské Pleso. It can be a bit hard to communicate with people in the area away from the tourist hotspots if you don't speak Slovak but with a few words of Slovak you can achieve a lot and Jozef and Vera even speak a bit of German! All in all a great experience and would definitely recommend!

Friendly host. Good location with wonderful view to mountains. If you dont travel by car, there is direct bus from Hightatras. Room well equipped. Great value for money.

The owners are very friendly and it is a beautiful place. There are many wonderful amenities, including excellent teas and coffee. The coffee was the best I’ve had since I’ve been traveling in eastern Europe. Wonderful value.

Excellent place to stay for a few days of hiking. Staff was friendly, room was comfortable and the Polar bear theme was delightful.
