I liked the proximity to the Mall and the main beaches. Being located in a local neighbourhood gives you a taste of the real islander life. It is nice to have access to cook yourself your own meals.

The woman in charge is very nice, big room, comfortable bed, shower pressure is good, big fridge, very good AC, the room was clean and inviting, located in a central area yet in a quiet alley which was great! The guest house is a 5 minute walking distance from Chaweng beach.

Chaweng Town Hotel is located in Amphoe Koh Samui, just 4.1 miles from Fisherman Village and 4.3 miles from Big Buddha.

Decent location, right in the mix of things in town, not near the beach though at all, and quite hard to find. Staff were pretty friendly, at the least the seasoned staff knew what they were doing. Were helpful in storing luggage, getting a taxi etc.
