An exceptional find. Small, cozy guesthouse in the heart of Chinatown. Located 1 block off Yaowarat in a small alley. Was amazingly quiet given the location. Owner was super nice and breakfast was different and delicious every morning. There are steps to the rooms, no problem for me but maybe for some. Room was exactly as pictured and lovely. From this location I could explore all of Chinatown and Talat noi on foot. 100% recommend and would be my pleasure to stay again. My favorite so far.

The place is located near one of the temples in the old district, but the surrounding area isn’t the most attractive. The service is somewhat informal since the owner or staff member speaks very limited English, so most communication happens through WhatsApp.
It’s a very simple accommodation, and honestly, not the most comfortable place I’ve stayed in. Additionally, I had to climb four floors without an elevator, which was quite challenging with Bangkok’s temperatures regularly exceeding 38°C.
The lodging system feels similar to a hostel—while the rooms are private, the rest of the services follow a self-service approach. For example, they show you how to make coffee but also where the sink, soap, and drying area are to clean up afterward.
The Quarter Wutthakat offers accommodations in Bang Khun Thian, 5.9 miles from Grand Palace and 5.9 miles from Temple of the Emerald Buddha.

It's really one of the most beautiful place where you can experience authentic Bangkok. The hotel is very close to BTS station by walking distance. Many local night markets are nearby around 5-10 minutes by car.
There is a riverfront market called Khlong Bang Luang, which is my favorite in Bangkok. There are many fancy coffee shops and art houses over there, only 10 minutes by car from this hotel!
Just a 12-minute walk from Temple of the Emerald Buddha and 0.4 miles from Wat Pho, Motu Bangkok features accommodations in Bangkok, with a bar and a shared lounge.

Room is above an established pub.
One flight of stairs to access.
Electronic door code to building and key box for apartment, easy to access.
Looks exactly like photos.
The snacks, water (don't drink tap) & soda provided was a treat upon arriving. Wifi hit or miss at times. Shower takes some adjusting but plenty of hot water. A/C and fans to keep cool (the heat/humidity is no joke here). Bed was a little hard for me, perfect for hubby. Linens/towels clean and smelled fresh!
Washing machine listed but not found.
Kettle, coffee maker and cups, refrigerator and safe available.
This is all about location, location, location! Walkable to all major sights, next to canal and park.
Hosts are SUPER friendly even with language barriers. Offer 10% discount on food at pub, tasty too. Music, pool & karaoke in the evenings/weekends....usually wrapped up by midnight, so not to disturb sleep.
You'll wake up to the sweet songs of local birds too!
This location and friendliness of staff can't be beat!
Perfect getaway spot for a couple traveling.

Bang Kachao is a great place to ride the free bicycles, which are kept in good condition, especially on weekdays when the area is quiet.
Location is good - walkable from both piers. Can walk to the park too.
Staff are very friendly - I felt so welcome.
The pool is relatively small but unusual for a home stay and very clean and nice to use.
Breakfast is nice - a good mix of things to eat for this price and size of property.
Rooms are very clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning.
Good WiFi signal in room and most public areas.
Breakfast was delicious and fresh, Pool had a great water temperature and was clean, rooms were huge and felt private, staff was friendly and helpful at ALL times, awesome for dogs as our little Pomeranian was able to roam around, neighbourhood feels very local, you need to get on a small boat with the other locals to get on the other side of the river, but it’s going 24/7 and costs only about 20baht per person, some strays in the neighbourhood that can be loud but aren’t dangerous
