This is a lovely place that feels like a home. It is Warmly and beautifully furnished. The room and bathroom are very big and pleasant. The mountain views from the rooms are as good as many of the lookout points in Alishan. The breakfast and dinner is elaborately prepared almost like a Michelin Star restaurant. The owners treated us like a friend that is staying with them.

Room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Hotpot dinner was good, sumptous with lots of fresh greens. Breakfast was average. Staff were very helpful and friendly, it was a really pleasant stay, quiet, peaceful with good views.
Alishan B&B YunMinGi has an one-level traditional lovely Taiwanese house and a beautiful contemporary 5-story building, both are connected by a short walkway.

The view is amazing. It’s like sleeping above clouds. Staff is very helpful and they make sure that everything is as it should be. Cool trails around.

The owner of the guest house was very kind to drive me to the nearest town; Shizhuo to take a bus there to head to Alishan or Fenqihu. They also picked up me from the same place in Shizhuo to head back to the guest house.
On a good day, you can see the sunrise from the common area on lvl 6.

I think the breakfast was something that the hotel owner has bought early in the morning from the nearby vendors. Breakfast was kept warm and tasted not bad.
We were lucky as the sky was clear to see the sunset from the room. It was magical.
The heating mat in the bed was a live saver. The weather was so cold during our stay.

The owner is very kind and helpful. I missed the bus after check-out and he drove me to the destination.. very friendly people who genuinely care about their guests. Nearby sceneries are especially beautiful especially the tea gardens. The room is a bit cold during cold weather as there was no heater. But there is a heated mattress so it's ok.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Beautiful view of the mountain ranges, moving clouds, unblocked view very close to nature. birds chirping. if you are a nature lover you will indeed love this place. Warm and friendly manager of the homestay.
We absolutely loved staying here. The host went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could possibly be. The location was amazing, incredible views, and the host was kind enough to drive us to view the sunset and also into the town centre to catch the bus back to Chiayi.
The breakfast was delicious and they catered to our dietary requirements.
Overall, so grateful to have met the lovely hosts and stay at this beautiful location.
