We had an unforgettable stay at the B&B! Highly recommend to stay here while you visit the Alishan area. Each morning we were able to catch a beautiful sunrise at the rooftop patio of the house. The first morning we also hiked the Tea & Mist trail up to the pavilion lookout points. The trailhead is only a few minute walk from the B&B which made it much more inviting when we hiked up very early in the morning. The hostess is so friendly and made us feel like we were staying at a relative’s place. She is very well versed at using a translator app to converse with us. The room was clean and the the hostess provided earplugs since there is some infrequent car noise at night. We were lucky to get to share tea with the hostess and learn more about the tea farms and tea making process before we left.

This is a great place for a vacation! The owner designed this place. Just as the name says, the place is surrounded by flowers and there are many tea tree fields in the neighborhood. The view from the place and in the nearby trails are stunning. You can watch the beautiful sunrise within five minutes walk!
You can feel the love for life from the owner in every single detail as the place is designed and decorated with utmost care. Not only a great place for vacation but one for photo shooting! If you are ever in Alishan, don’t miss it! We hope to go back again!

The room was spacious for a party of two (the room could comfortably fit 4 people) and had a large balcony. When I there, the weather was foggy, misty, & raining so I didn't get the full sunset view (however you could still see the tea plantations when it cleared up). They do provide heated blankets when the weather is cold (absolute game changer as we would have froze with how under-packed we were). There is parking and they ask for the time when you want your breakfast (so you can bring it back to your room). The family was very friendly despite the language barrier. Overall, we had a lovely experience despite the weather.

The host of Miao Home is thoughtful and kind. She got out of her way to help us figure out how to get to our next destinations. She made us a delicious breakfast and served it with beautiful music. Her rooms are clean and roomy. We are very satisfied with our stay here and hope for a future revisit soon
