Absolutely stunning location.
Host could not have been more helpful. We were cycling and stupidly did not have any food with us - she organised an emergency lunch and booked us into a restaurant for dinner.
Breakfast was fantastic.

Quiet location, near were some tea gardens. Modern equipped, comfortable room. Convenient parking. Owner sells the tea as well, so I have spent one evening with tasting it. I used Luye as a base for exploring the whole area, by foot as well as by car. If you have car, it is a better option than to stay in Taitung. Not so much restorants in walking distance.
