Ruhija Gorilla Guest House has a bar and a shared lounge in Kabale. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available.

We had a really great experience with the gorilla guest house! Cylia, the manager, is super friendly and helpful with everything. Also the price is super fair.

Featuring a bar, OM Hostel Bunyonyi provides accommodation in Kabale. Boasting free shuttle service, this property also provides guests with a terrace.

The place is located on the shores of lake bunyonyi. They will pick you up on the main boat parking spot with a wooden canoo and then bring you to the hostel. It‘s simply pradise on earth. The hostel is very simple, not the cleanest and life is very slow. Dont expect luxury or good wifi, the bed might not be very clean but apart from that it‘s heaven on earth. Special thanks to Joseph, he is an incredible guy and can tell you frank and good stories about the lake and Uganda.

Providing garden views, Makanga Hill Suites in Kabale features accommodation and a garden. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a picnic area.

Nice place but a bit overpriced. Comfortable bed with mosquito net, very calm and safe neighbourhood. Hard to find because Google Maps and OpenStreetMap have non-existing roads in Kabale. From the main road, first go to "Makanga Golf Course Polling Post", and from there continue to the hotel.

Syria (sp?) is an exceptionally good host on a country where great hosts are the standard. Attentive to every detail, very informative and dedicated to helping both her clients and her local community. Extremely well done!!

Our stay at Amasiko Home Stay is one of our best memories from our trip in Rwanda and Uganda. Wilfried's has built a hidden paradise in complete harmony with nature. Everything was perfect, from our spacious cabin with a fantastic lake view to the delicious homemade meals. The hot shower with water that smells like eucalyptus wood is the cherry on the cake! Do not hesitate one second!

The location and view were great. The personnel was very nice and welcoming. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. The bed was extremely comfortable. Didan is a great host and he can help you arrange tours and give great recommendations. Overall it was a great experience. We would loved to stay more time.
