Mostly we loved how peaceful and quite the place is. Tegan is a great host, she deserves all the stars. Red Rock Villa is perfect with all things you need to complete a perfect vacation. We chose the wildlife estate (not a nature reserve out of town) because we wanted to be close to town to explore Hoedspruit for a day. We had not been to Hoedspruit for 2 years and wow did it change. We also did a nice walk in the estate, where we saw several residents biking and walking with their children and dogs. It was clean, comfortable and fantastic value for money. It is set in an estate full of beautiful birds and wildlife. It's hard to believe that you spot giraffe and zebra minutes from town. WE ARRIVED AFTER A 6 HOUR DRIVE WITH 4 YOUNG CHILDREN FROM GAUTENG ONLY TO FIND OUT THIS IS A SCAM - THE “Lodge” IS A PRIVATE RESIDENCE IN A PRIVATE WILDLIFE ESTATE THAT DOES NOT EVEN ALLOW SHORT TERM OR HOLODAY ACCOMMODATION, SECURITY DID NOT ALLOW US TO ENTER.
