The rooms were tidy and beautiful. There are black cockatoos, koalas, kangaroos, pelicans and even seals, stingrays as well as dolphins to be seen if you are lucky

Set in Pelican Lagoon in the Kangaroo Island region and Island Beach reachable within 1.2 km, Island Alive Guest House offers accommodation with free WiFi, barbecue facilities, a private beach area... I had a great stay at Island Alive! My ferry got cancelled the day I was supposed to arrive and I called the host letting her know, she was extremely helpful and kind and even refunded me the night I could not arrive. Would stay here again!

Wedgetaildown is located in Parndana and offers a garden and barbecue facilities. Guests can benefit from a patio and a picnic area. Wedgetaildown is an extraordinary destination. The accommodation may be the best VRBO/AirBnB we have ever stayed in. It is a perfect size for one or two people. The unit is lovely inside, with very comfortable furniture and beautiful artwork, and with huge windows looking out over the wild property. The unit is perfectly appointed and supplied. Although it attached to the main house, you wouldn't know it as the rammed-earth walls prevent any noise transmission, as well as keeping the room cool in summer. We found the kitchen to be well designed, and it had everything that we could want, including a delicious basket of breakfast food. The shower was delightful, and there was a washing machine, which came in very handy!
