The family room we rented turned out to be much much bigger than it seems in the pictures; there was even a nice big table for the whole family in the room. Bed was huge and comfortable, and the whole lodging was impeccably clean.

Gasthof zum Schützen mempunyai taman, teres, restoran dan bar di Aarau. This guesthouse was very friendly and welcoming and located close to the old town. It is top rated for food in the town, although we didn't eat there, the restaurant was very busy. Parking is located in front, in a public car park and the receptionist has a card whereby you pay 12 francs a day. Our room was spacious, clean, super comfortable bed and homely. It was all very relaxing. Breakfast, although a small display, had everything - fresh bread, croissants, fruit, yoghurts, hard/soft boiled egg and a small selection of meats & cheese. We appreciated very much the 'help yourself to coffee machine' which is always the best thing ever! Super friendly staff who spoke English with us.

Very quiet even with the window open. Clean room and facilities. The host was really friendly and reactive to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend.
