At the beginning the place seems scary for a foreigner, but do not worry it’s absolutely safe inside. The staff is very attentive and tries to understand your needs. They cook inside, so even if you arrive late, they will provide you with hot delicious dinner. Breakfast is also really nice. The hostal is simple, but the owners try very hard for their guests.

Located within 2 km of San Mateo Beach and 10 km of Viña del Mar Bus Terminal in Valparaíso, Val Paradou - ex - Casa Magnolia provides accommodation with seating area. Everything was incredible - Valparaiso is a vibrant city and this beautiful home matches the city in beauty and mood. The room is extremely comfortable and well decorated, the breakfast is excellent and served in a very homely family room, and the view from the terrace is among the best we saw in the whole city (perfect for an evening wine or two). Aside from the space, the host is very welcoming and chilled out; he really helps to create a homely environment. If we come back to Valparaiso, we will be staying at Val Paradou again without a doubt.

In the Cerro Alegre district of Valparaíso, close to Caleta Portales Beach, Casa Fibonacci features a bar and a washing machine. very nice and comfy place, the location is perfect, in the middle of the heritage zone in Valparaiso

Habitaciones Mar Azul is set in El Quisco, 500 metres from Las Conchitas Beach, 1.5 km from Los Corsarios, and 2.2 km from Punta de Tralca. Great location-50m to the beach and about 100m to the main street with all the restaurants and supermarkets. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel has a common fully equipped kitchen, where you can cook and keep your food. The owner is really friendly and helpful. 100% recommended

Located in El Quisco and only 500 metres from Playa Pequeña Quisco, Hostal F provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Hostal F was a great stay. Valmue for money. A véranda and a balcony directly westward cool mornings and fantastic sunsets. The central beach and a more quiet beach within 5 to 10 min walk. The host and his family was very helpful. Remember to ask if you need or miss anything. The town is active with good places to eat. There is an active fishing harbor and fish market lively markets and good routes for shorter walks 1 to 6 km. You can take the local busses to neighboring towns. Everyone we meet where friendly and keen to help In a nice way. We felt safe and in good hands. 😊☺️

Offering a garden and sea view, Mi Paz is situated in Valparaíso, 1.3 km from Caleta Portales Beach and 9.4 km from Viña del Mar Bus Terminal. It was just perfect and amazing. The room was confortable. We were welcome super well with a lot of informations about Valparaiso ! Just go ;)

Boasting a garden, terrace and views of sea, Hostal Tunquelen is situated in Valparaíso, 1.7 km from Caleta Portales Beach. I had a wonderful stay here. The private bedroom was very clean and bed very comfortable. The private bathroom was super clean also. There’s a kitchen available for use, a washing machine for laundry and a line to hang clothes for drying. The lady who manages the hostel is very nice and welcoming. She speaks clearly and slowly, which allows someone with basic Spanish to understand. There’s a friendly cat that I liked having around. The location is a 5 minute walk from O’Higgins Plaza. One issue is the noise from the water pump that turns on and off every 5 seconds. This can be a bother at night if you have the room that is closest to it. Overall, a good experience. 10/10
