Easily one of the best places I’ve stayed at, they truly make you feel at home. Coming to zhangjiajie can be intimidating as a foreigner as all the scenic locations are very scattered and you need to book a whole lot of tickets. Our host speaks amazing English and he made this process a breeze, not only did he book everything for us at a discounted price but he also gave us a detailed run through of the routes as well as record a video. He picked us up from the train station and dropped us off at where we need to go, I didn’t even need to switch my brain on. Our room was clean, comfy, spacious and high tech. Additionally his parents cook amazing food, traditional chinese style including noodles and soup dumplings, better than the restaurants we tried in the area! In conclusion I highly recommend this place especially if you’re a foreigner coming here for the first time! They truly go above and beyond for you.

The place is a little hard to find on your own, however, the owner Chen will pick you up from the old town gate. He was excellent, very helpful and attentive. He helped us book train tickets to our next destination and kept in contact throughout our stay through WeChat. 10/10 would recommend!

Set in Zhangjiajie, WALLY HOUSE 张家界青山惠风民宿 features free WiFi. The property is located 400 metres from Yuanjiajie, 2.1 km from Bailong Elevator and 2.5 km from Zixia Taoist Temple. Super friendly staff. Amazing location - super close to the National Park, the bus station (to go to the glass canyon or in zhangjiajie downtown), and the little night market to eat something afterwards. The room was really comfy and we really enjoyed our stay there !

Nice and cosy hotel in a quieter part of Fenghuang, whilst still having a mesmerising view of the vivid lights of Fenghuang River at night. The hotel is located amazingly, being close to both the riverside and the Phoenix Old Town. It's a great starting point for some adventuring on foot! Big thanks to our host and his wife for their support and their part in making our stay magical.

The Nvue Resort was the best choice for our stay at the Zhangjiajie National Park. Ming and his colleague were so awesome!!!! I never experienced and employee that is so engaged and is providing such a good service. We wanted to find a hotel in a natural setting, away from the noisy tourist area but still close to the park entrance. This hotel is only 10 min from the Middle entrance so after we booked the room, the manager, Ming, messaged us to arrange to pick us up at this entrance. As English speaking travelers, it can be difficult to travel to remote locations so this was quite convenient for us. The hotel is located just a 5 minute walk from one of the other entrances which made it easy to visit the park. We loved the quiet location, close to a small village where we could watch the farmers harvest their crops. Many staff members spoke excellent English and each one of them worked hard to make sure our needs were met. They can help you book the tickets for attractions and arrange transportations to give you a easy and smooth trip. They also so patient to help you arrange tour plan according to your time,so sweet. The hotel restaurant had a good variety of menu options which were delicious and plentiful,We really enjoy the coffee here and bread and fruit, omelte and so on. I want to thank Ming, for making our stay with you so enjoyable!
