Apart from it being very economical, it is perfectly situated only a few meters from the centre on a hill with magnificent views, 360 degrees. I had a really nice room on the 3rd floor with beautiful mountain views and fast, stable WiFi. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, white sheets and plenty of blankets. The kitchen downstairs is massive and is the most equipped I've ever seen. The staff here are so kind and friendly that they go out of their way to help you. It's very peaceful and silent at night. The few dogs around rarely bark, and not for more than a minute or two during the day, so a perfect place to relax or work online.

The beds were comfortable and had plenty of blankets to defeat the mountain chill. I loved the paintings everywhere. The place is rustic, but comfortable and well-maintained. Even though we are not young mountaineers, we were comfortable and happy there. Even though the place is right next to the road, it is quiet. The bathroom is down the hall, but it is very clean, and there were no other guests that night.

It’s a short walk up to great trails on the mountain, or to the lake if you prefer that. And his children are super friendly and helpful. A perfect stay.
