Perfect, value for money and location beats any of those big chain hotels/motels near the airport It is also super quiet. We could sleep with open windows!!! We stayed in several places during the 10 days preceding the Gateway Lodge. None of those could compare to the quality of the Lodge.

Heillandi 19. öld Port Sunlight Worker's Cottage er gististaður með garði í Port Sunlight, 9 km frá Liver Building, 9,2 km frá Pier Head og 10 km frá Liverpool ONE. The residence was extremely pleasant to stay in with good heating and well stocked kitchen. The bathroom had great water pressure and it was large. The railway station is one minute walk with trains direct to Liverpool city center. The TV was huge and had free movie options. Overall a great place to stay. All was good. The area is historic in nature with great walking areas throughout Port Sunlight. The art gallery is especially impressive and the local pubs and restaurants are excellent.

No complaints whatsoever, owner was lovely and helpful. Location is perfect very close to the Mersey, it was absolutely spotless and definitely worth the money. Would 100% come back.

Lyndsay is a lovely owner, met her when we checked in, very nice, friendly and helpful. The room was 10 out of 10, the house is in a great location. The shared accommodation (living room and kitchen) exceeded expectations as we mostly cooked by ourselves and ate in the hotel, there is everything you need for cooking. There is also a great backyard, unfortunately we couldn't use it as it was cold, but in warmer weather it would have been great to sit in the evening or to have breakfast. Also, thanks Lyndsay for her recommendations before our arrival and help with everything, we were very pleased and had a great time in Liverpool and at the match.

Great location on a lovely tree lined road a short walk from the town centre. Our hosts were very welcoming and did everything they could to make us feel at home. The room was lovely, very comfortable and spotlessly clean, great attention to detail and thoughtfully decorated. Breakfast was very good including a vegetarian option which we both appreciated and enjoyed very much, good hot coffee too!

Extremely clean. Very confortable. Perfectly equipped. We had all what we need (even more!). Nice room, spacious, with sweet garden view and direct access to it. Big (and super clean) bathroom. Everything is perfectly maintained and in good condition. Very calm, pleasant and safe area, only a few minutes away (by walk) from the beach. Direct and easy bus connection to the city center. Allan and Jan, a very nice couple, are great hosts. Extremely helpful and taking very good care of everything. Absolutely worth the money and very definitely THE spot to stay in the city.
