Beautiful homestay, which is very well maintained and run with love and attention to details. Of course it is still a basic accomodation in a remote location with limited resources. But we were very positively surprised by the comforts. Great snorkeling reef, lots of trip options. 2 rooms with AC available for a surcharge.

I absolutely recommend anyone going to Raja Ampat to stay at Nyande! This place has the comfort, cleanliness, facilities of a resort at the price of a homestay so shoutout to the owners, Andy and Esni! I ended up staying 2 additional nights because I liked it so much. Food was great. The hotel is solar powered (!) which also means that you get electricity 24h/day and they bring plastic back to Waisai instead of burning it which also means no smell of burnt plastic here - these are exceptional things for Raja Ampat. The jetty is great and you can see so much from there at night. And finally I cannot highlight how clean the place is and not a single cockroach or rat to be seen around the rooms/restaurants. Beautiful snorkeling on the house reef.

Erarannaga Coco Huts Guest House asub Waisai ranna ääres. Majutusasutusest avaneb vaade merele ja mägedele. Külalistemajas on aurusaun, päikeseterrass ja välikamin. We had a really special time at the Coco Huts homestay. The family put a lot of heart and effort into making our stay a great experience. Everyone was very kind and welcoming. Delicious and varied food, clean bathroom facilities (water containers were constantly replenished), great ocean view from the bungalow. The host took us on a number of trips, including a trip to Wayag, which were really well-organized, and we felt super safe on the boat as well as snorkeling with a local guide (the reefs in the area are amazing). The transfer back to Waisai was well-organized as well. If you’re looking for a quiet get-away from the more crowded areas like Piaynemo, this is definitely a good choice.

Wonderful property on the beach of the Pacific Ocean with very friendly staff and very distinguished and well educated owners. They are ready to help you with whatever you want.

Raja Ampat Sandy Guesthouse asub Saonekis, 1,3 km kaugusel Waisai Torang Cinta rannast. Külalistemajas on konditsioneeriga majutusruumid. The guesthouse is quaint, located in a quiet area of town. The room was exactly what we needed after a long journey to Raja Ampat. Our hostess was very gracious and helpful. We will be going to stay there again.

The owners were extremely helpful with organizing trips, answering questions, giving advice on places to stay. The breakfasts were always delicious and varied. They were very knowledgable about the region and were well connected. They arrainged a good scooter at a fair price. A great first landing spot off of the ferry from Sorong. I have already booked my second stay when back from the outer islands to prepare for the return ferry trip. International travelers will be happy here.

Closeness to nature, which is still unspoiled. Lots of birds, fishes and ofcourse the marine life that is easy accessible from PapuArts Alter Native Stay. Family feeling; easily to feel at home with this lovely family of four (Helga, Timon and their 2 beautiful young daughters who love to make friends). Oh, and I forgot their two sweet dogs Ringo & Dingo 🐾🐾 Owners are very helpful and speak several languages so easy to communicate with them. Internet is sometimes a bit unstable so take that into account when expecting speedy replies (sometimes it just doesn’t work and patience is a good thing to have). The food - home style cooking (breakfast, lunch and dinner are all cooked by the owner and her team and she is a great cook; we loved every meal which was perfectly catered to our vegetarian / pescatarian wishes) The rooms are close to nature as well, with very comfy beds (we stayed in both the smaller and the biggest family room, which easily fits 3 respectively 4 people; the 3rd bed in the smaller room has a wonderful treehouse feeling and there is a bunkbed in the biggest room). Hard to capture the beauty of the rooms in just one picture (I took several but could only post one here with my review). You can hear the sea and birds from your bedroom. It’s right next to you. No frills, just natural materials, which we loved. Also no warm water, but easily to get used to. There’s a shower and mandi style shower. Also your own toilet. Plus the blue blue sea right at your doorstep and a lovely sitting area with a hammock to complete the zen-feeling. There’s a long jetty into the sea with a perfect spot for exercise/meditation/yoga at the end. Fitness with a view! It’s quiet and feels very private. You instantly feel relaxed here. Different excursions to choose from, both on land and on/under the sea. Please note: these come at an extra cost and Raja Ampat area is not cheap!!!! The place is extraordinary. The house reef is very beautiful with many fish and corals in excellent condition. All the staff was very nice. I especially want to thank all the staff for the attention received since I had a health problem and they were concerned about my health at all times.
