Matraville Home Stay Tuk Lake Toba Samosir asub Tuk Tukis. Majutusruumides on istumisnurk. Majutusasutusel on terrass ja tasuta eraparkla. Külalistemajas on peretoad. The host, Dimmer, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, included transportation to/from the island, scooter rental etc. He was always available in person and by phone to answer questions. The room was huge with a great big balcony with amazing view, very clean with new furniture. Access to the lake and a great swimming spot. Would definitely stay again!

Such nice people. Star took me out one night to drink like a local and watch the England game. Super good English speakers and very helpful. Great area with a very nice cafe opposite with live music Thursdays and Fridays. The couple have a little shop at the front of the property selling crisps, drinks,sweets, beer and cigarettes. Nice view from the balcony as well.

Everything was excellent! Best thing about this hotel are the views. Once you open the door of your room, you’re greeted by an impressive view of Lake Toba. It appears to be a new hotel, so the room and furnishings were new and clean. Location was fantastic as well. The hotel is right next to the water, so the ferry from Parapat can drop you off right at the hotel pier and pick you up from the same place. There are great restaurants nearby. I strongly recommend Coffee 2 Go across the street for breakfast and coffee, and Rosalie’s Beer Garden and Restaurant a 5-min walk away for lunch and dinner. Staff is friendly and helpful, though not all of them speak English.

Lake access and beautiful view from the garden as well as the room - I think The most beautiful out of all The accomodation I’ve seen while walking around Tuk Tuk Village. New and very clean apartaments. Great banana pancaces for breakfast:) Very warm and helpful owners- helped organize a guide and transport around The lake as well as futher trip.

Very convenient location to walk around and check out different restaurants. The room was lovely and quite spacious with a comfortable bed. Staff were delightful and only went to the restaurant once but we had a delicious meal.

We stayed for a total of 9 nights in Romlan; in two different rooms. Where to start with the things we liked? First of all, the staff of Romlan is very friendly and helpful. They even helped us with calling and getting to the local pharmacy to get some medicines for sickness (one of us got ill and they called the pharmacy that was closed due to the Sunday Service and they opened up the pharmacy for us). The food and drinks of their own restaurant were amazing and very tasty & variable; good price value as well! The location of Romlan is also good: the boat drops you off at their pier and all the things in Tuk Tuk are on walking distance. The views from the rooms and restaurant are amazing. If you want to hire a scooter bike you can without signing for anything and you don't have to fuel up the tank (when you get the bike, the tank is full). A free refill water station is available and also some tips & tricks about the surroundings of Romlan and the transport options from Lake Toba to other places like Berastagi or Medan. Definitely recommended to book your stay at Romlan when you are looking for a place to stay in Tuk Tuk.

It was a rugged location with the lake and sunset at your doorstep. You can wake up to the sound of the waves and it was quite peaceful. But perhaps the best thing about them is the hospitality, and their FOOD. I tried various different restaurants from my stay at Tuktuk and nothing came close to the food made by Hamlet and Rita at Laster Jony's. It felt like coming back home from a long day of travelling. Definitely try their veggie and cheese omelette, fried rice, and mixed fruit pancake 😍.

Tuk Tukis asuvas külalistemajas Gokhon on istumisnurgaga majutusruumid. Rannaäärsel majutusasutusel on terrass, tasuta eraparkla ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Everything was great. The room was very clean, the bed is comfy, the lake view from the balcony was incredible! The host is extremely friendly and always ready to help with anything. They even provide scooters for the rent (cheaper than other places)
