I started communicating with Sarah months before with questions on the weather and trekking and she was always accommodating even when i hadn't booked anything! A few months later I finally booked a stay and everything was organised very well from the airport pickup to my room to an amazing 3 day trek with the best guides SUGI and SATRIA! I didn't want to be pressured on the hike which can happen when you're with a group of younger, more fit and more 'aggressive' hikers. So Sarah's husband paired me up with a couple who wanted to take their time and we were the perfect match! Our guides made sure we were safe, well fed, comfortable and we got to see soooo many animals - core memories - MADE!

Objekat Sumatra Orangutan Discovery Villa, koji ima vrt, smešten je u gradu Bukit Lawang. Ovaj pansion ima terasu i pogled na planinu, a gosti mogu da uživaju uz obrok u restoranu ili piće u baru. There was nothing we didn’t like. Comfortable beds, beautifully decorated room, amazing tropical garden, delicious food in the restaurant, the well organised and executed overnight tour into the jungle (yes, we were lucky to see orangutans in the wild) But it is the people working at the Orangutan discovery villa that made our stay unforgettable - highly hospitable, accommodating, genuine in every way. If we are ever to go back to Bukit Lawang it will be the this place.

Smeštajni objekat Sumatra Cheeky Monkeys ima vrt, zajednički salon, terasu i bar u gradu Bukit Lawang. This was such an amazing place. The owners Sarah and August welcomed us very friendly. We had a pickup at the bus station. The rooms were nice, spacious and comfortable. The food was tasty and for reasonable price. We did 3 days trekking with guide Bai and friends and had so much fun. We saw tons of animals including wild orangutan, siamangs, argus and turtles. The camping in nature was simple but very fun and the food was amazing. We felt like in a family. Thank you 🙂

Objekat Batu Kapal Guest House & Jungle trekking, koji je smešten u gradu Bukit Lawang, u ponudi ima vrt. Amazing staff! And the guest house is right next to the national park so there are wild orangutans wandering around. We had a really good stay here and would definitely recommend! 🙂
