Boasting a garden and views of garden, Butterhouse is a recently renovated guest house situated in Trim, 4.8 km from Trim Castle. We loved the facility and its owners. It is exceptionally clean, well furnished, and warm. Our bedroom was clean, tidy and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and included eggs, bread/toast, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee/tea and wonderful conversation. The grounds of the B&B are delightful and include cows.

Bounty Bar, a property with a bar, is located in Trim, 500 metres from Trim Castle, 13 km from Hill of Ward, as well as 15 km from Solstice Arts Centre. Great little traditional pub and rooms on the Main Street of Trim, good whisky and lovely modern rooms, clean and very tidy!!

Set in Trim and only 6.1 km from Trim Castle, Boyne View House offers accommodation with river views, free WiFi and free private parking. The Lodge was warm with comfortable beds, and we were given a helpful welcome pack on arrival. Our hosts were very accommodating. Well kept grounds with views over fields.

Located just 10 km from Slane Castle, Countryside Retreat offers accommodation in Balrath with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. The location is excellent for those who want to stay between Dublin and Belfast. The rooms are extremely clean, and all the usable areas are very well maintained. But the best thing of all is, without a doubt, the host. Marie is the kind of person one would wish to have as part of their own family. She was always very attentive and available for anything we needed. It's a shame we only stayed for two nights. We're already looking forward to coming back.
