Het bekroonde Killaran House bevindt zich op slechts een paar minuten te voet van het centrum van Killarney en de bus- en treinstations. Killaran House is warm and welcoming from the outside. It is a pretty yellow with a bright red door, and red sign, which helped identify it when coming home. The inside offered a sitting room with a television and an adequate dining area for guests. Upstairs the rooms were big and clean, and the beds were comfortable. A highlight of the house was that it had a television that offered far more channels than any other site we stayed. It was nice to find movies and sit-coms easily and even CNN. It was close to activities and restaurants. It was very quiet, and we only saw the host when she gave us our keys. Breakfast was good and offered both warm and cold selections. They were the only restaurant that we went to that offered pancakes. They were delicious and came with a wonderful fruit sauce. They were very accommodating with breakfast times. We enjoyed a nice quiet and comfortable stay at Killaran House.

Located just 1.5 km from Killarney High Street, Gleann Fia Country House offers guests e car charging and free parking. Located on the river Deenagh with acres of wild garden. Beautiful place, room and location, excellent breakfeast and we received a comprehensive overview of activities and places to see in the area, fit to the length of our visit. Most of the suggestions we received turned out to be amazing. Can't wait to try the recipe we received for Bridget's brown bread. 10/10 would recommend.
