The Sherpa family are amazing, and the staff at the hotel go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Nima organised a local driver for 3 days who took us to markets, local sight seeing and all the way back to namchi/pelling. Our Gangtok trip wouldn’t have been so amazing/easy without their help. They even lent us jackets for Tsmogo Lake. Aunty’s cooking was so delicious that we ate at the home stay every night. Coming from Australia, we were a bit bewildered with how far apart towns and cities are and they explained and recommended how to do Sikkim after Gangtok. The view from the home stay is incredible, so glad we chose here at the top of the Gangtok hills for the views

We had a lovely stay at the Alpine Jungle Stay ( 4 friends from UK). The rooms were amazing and really different to the rest of India - almost japanese style. They made delicious dinners and breakfast, and couldn't have done more for us. They also made us lunch for our trek. The owner was also lovely and chatty. It was also out of the way, and quiet so you felt like you had a good place to rest away from busier parts of India.

We arrived at this absolutely delightful homestay with no prior plans or expectations and left thoroughly enlightened by their hospitality and friendly family atmosphere. Our room and ensuite was perfect in very aspect and so very clean - like brand new. Karma is the person in Sikkim to go to for your travel needs and cultural information. His sister is a most wonderful cook and we were served a variety of organic Sikkimese foods. We loved our culinary adventure! Along with their lovely mother this provided us with an unforgettable experience which has forever endeared us to Sikkim and to them. Memories of their kindness will remain with us forever as they opened their hearts to us with genuine hospitality.

Lali Gurush Homestay was one of the best Holidays I ever had. The host family made us feel that we are at home only and prepared all the cuisines we requested for. Rooms were good and with a view and with all amenities. Mr Zigmee a gem of a person showed us around Oakhrey. His father mother brother ...each and everyone just so genuine and courteous...always helpful. In Okhrey Lali Gurush Homestay is the place to be, frankly...Kudos to the home family.

The host was amazing—very friendly and accommodating, which made me feel right at home. The balcony view was stunning, providing a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The room was clean and well-maintained, further enhancing my comfort. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its warm atmosphere and great service!

Yellow Sapphire, Premium Sikkimese Homestay asub Gangtokis, 6,4 km kaugusel Sikkimi Manipali ülikooli kaugharidusest ja 11 km kaugusel Namgyali Tiibetoloogia Instituudist. Loved the location with greenery and beautiful view of mountain. Their services and food were awesome, especially the Chicken Choila (local dish). The car service they provided was also great, with a gentle and patient driver. best wishes to the team Yellow Sapphire…!

Aiaga Hidden Cottage asub Namchis, 45 km kaugusel Happy Valley Tea Estate'ist ja 46 km kaugusel Mahakal Mandirist. Autoga saabuvatele külalistele on kohapeal tasuta eraparkla. Very clean and pleasant room of just the right size, with very comfy bed! All's pretty quiet and peaceful, and I appreciated the prompt and friendly service by the host. The availability of breakfast and dinner is convenient and reasonably priced. Dinner is tasty though I wouldn't mind a bigger portion. I'm a cyclist though, so might not be representative for others. All in all, I certainly had a nice stay!
