The family-run Vogafjos Guesthouse is set in a unique natural environment on the eastern shore of Lake Myvatn. It offers rooms with a patio and free Wi-Fi. We stayed in a Superior King room and loved it! The room is spacious, nicely decorated, with all the needed amenities. It’s located a bit further away from two main blocks, and thus is quieter. A great bed with a selection of pillows (my neck was complaining after several hotels offered only very think pillows), a sitting area and well heated bathrooms (we stayed in Jan, it was important :) Loved the restaurant of the property. The breakfast was very nice, the dinner selection coould be bigger / different, but the dishes we ended up trying were good.

Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. Four bedrooms with public living room and kitchen. Nice place for multiple groups. Self-serviced breakfast is included. We had two great night's here.
