My room was modern and exceptionally clean, the cooking facilities were great and there were also staff on site like Nick who took me on tours and Ryan (the designated driver) who was my chaperone into town - Ochi. The hidden gem for me was the almost exclusive access to the White river running around the back of the house where I had a limestone massage or would sit and meditate in the mornings. They even offer Tubing tours along the river which I thought was absolutely fantastic! Idilio escape was a calm, comfortable and memorable experience. I would definitely book and go back.

This was such a good stay. The hosts Paula & Eric were so responsive to my text with questions prior to my arrival. Booked an airport pickup with Eric and he was there even though my flight was slightly delayed. Room was spacious and clean and the neighborhood is quiet with a few minutes drive from the beach. The property is gated so as a solo traveller I felt safe at all times. It felt like a home away from home. I ordered a Jamaican breakfast the first morning. It was very tasty. The portion size was huge, so you could skip lunch quite easily. They were on hand to give advice on travel if you were unsure and would always encourage you to ring them if you encounter any problems. They were so accommodating and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property, shame it was such a short visit for a family funeral.
