Kizu san was really nice. The facilities were great and the bed was so comfy. Delicious breakfast packed with healthy ingredients. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to the village.

What is see is what you get (and with Japan standard of cleaniness!) If you are looking to stay in a traditional japanese home, Danne-Danne is an excellent choice - with modern facilities but with the old style. The host was also super helpful and responsive!

古民家の宿「こはる」 is a recently renovated homestay in Obama, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Oda couple and her parents were very friendly and hospitable. The meals were delicious and the setting was tranquil and quaint. We were there with a lot of snow and the 92yo grandfather cleaned our car of snow, the driveway and built a fire in the stove! We also got a brief tour of the older part of the house and they showed us old b/w pictures of the wife's childhood in the house. The bathroom was clean and new and the bathwater was nice and hot! Very quiet at night, not too far from Obama town. Thank you for welcoming us into your home!

Situated in Katsuyama, 恐竜博物館まで車で5分 自然体験 古来農業体験ができる一棟貸し宿Dinosaur Agri is a recently renovated accommodation, 31 km from Phoenix Plaza and 31 km from Fukui International Activities Plaza. The staff was amazing. Very friendly and supportive. Place was super clean and comfortable. The beds were perfect for us. Bathroom clean and with toiletries of good quality. They provide eggs, bacon, bread etc for breakfast. The place is very suitable for kids.

Located in the centre of Mikuni, a lovely seaside village in Fukui with a historic quarter. Mikuni Tsumesyo is located on the main street running along the axis, so it is conveniently located to everything you need. The house is truly amazing,, the photos do not do enough justice; gardens interior and design are all impeccable. I really enjoyed staying here but I wish could luve out of the house for an entire month.

古民家ゲストハウス ナマケモノ, a property with a garden, is set in Ōno, 27 km from Eiheiji Temple, 30 km from Fukui Prefecture Industrial Hall, as well as 31 km from Fukui International Activities Plaza. The food, the decor, the town, the whole area was extremely pleasant and I also arrived during the spring festival which made the experience that much better. The host was extremely helpful and polite and made my time in the city great, they even offered to drive me and my friend to the train station, saving us time and back pain from all our luggage. Great hospitality in a lovely Guest House.

Located just 1.2 km from Kehi Jingu Shrine, ほぼ家 provides accommodation in Tsuruga with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as private check-in and check-out. Very relaxing and clean, with comfortable traditional bedding and cozy shared living space. Highly recommended to others.
