Conveniently situated in the Shimogyo Ward district of Kyoto, 初音(はつね) is located 1.2 km from TKP Garden City Kyoto, 1.4 km from Gion Shijo Station and 1.5 km from Kyoto Station. Wonderful place to stay in Kyoto, excellent location. The property's host Kevin was very accomodating- allowed us to check in early, offered us some tea. We felt very welcomed there. Our room was spacious, had a nice view, very clean, nice bathroom. Would definately stay there again!

Located in the centre of Kyoto, 雅 is a recently renovated accommodation, which provides soundproof rooms. The air-conditioned accommodation is less than 1 km from Gion Shijo Station. The staff running this hotel are some of the nicest people I've met in Japan. Everything was super clean and comfortable. I'd stay here again if I was in Kyoto in the future.

Set in Kyoto, less than 1 km from Gion Shijo Station and a 13-minute walk from Kiyomizu-dera Temple, 東山の宿 藤屋 offers air conditioning. Everything! The house is an old Japanese style (which itself is awesome) and in the middle of Gion district. Most sights of old Kyoto are within walking distance (5-20min), but the house is in a quiet street. There are only two guest rooms in the house, it’s super clean, and Linda and her husband make sure you have everything you need and give great advise what to visit and when. They are the most amazing people and make you feel right at home. Thank you for everything!!!

Everything was amazing! The distance from the train was small and downhill. The host was phenomenal, she made us breakfast and each day was a different region. She also had amazing recommendations on where to tour. I want to come back to Kyoto again just so I can stay there longer!

Located in Kyoto, 400 metres from Kyoto International Manga Museum and less than 1 km from the centre, 六根ゲストハウス Rokkon guest house provides air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a garden. It was such a special experience, it felt authentic and personal. We loved the incredible breakfasts, and the notes with tea and snacks when we returned at the end of the day. It was so warm and cosy, and so lovely to be able to look at a pretty garden in the middle of a busy city. The location was great too - there is so much within walking distance.

Gististaðurinn er staðsettur í Kyoto, í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Kitano Tenmangu-helgiskríninu og í 3 km fjarlægð frá miðbænum. The staff were so helpful and kind with everythijg that they did. Truly a wonderful experience.

Family Inn Kei 慶 features accommodation within 3.2 km of the centre of Kyoto, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with an oven, a microwave and a toaster. The house is near Kyoto station and bus stops. The room was clean, comfortable and very convenient. The host and the staffs are are so kindness and helpful. A male staff drove us to the Kyoto Station when all taxies were unavailable and another female wrapped our paper bag by plastic bag because it was raining. I highly appreciate these people this place, and will continue to stay here when I come back to Kyoto.

Guesthouse Raku er staðsett í miðbæ Kyoto, 500 metra frá safninu Kyoto International Manga Museum og 1,9 km frá Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan-ráðstefnumiðstöðinni. Boðið er upp á ókeypis WiFi og loftkælingu. Location is excellent. The apartment is spacious and well equipped. Very friendly and helpful host.
