I had a great stay at Odambang Village Homestay. The bungalow is new and clean. The bathroom as well. The bed is very comfortable and equipped with a mosquito net. A small terrace with a seating area is nice. Savet and his wife and family take great care of the guests. There is a good breakfast and Savet tells and shows a lot about life in Cambodia. The bungalow is just outside the center, but very nice and Savet picked me up or drove me into town.

I’m so glad to meet them and feel at home. They are friendly and kind, and the bathrooms are simple but clean. Sometimes it feels like we are Cambodian as well. Every day, they prepare a special Khmer meal. Oh, and they also have Wi-Fi! In the mornings, it’s wonderful to see the sunrise and enjoy the fresh air. I can’t quite describe it, but it’s been such a great experience for me—truly the best. If I ever have the opportunity to visit Battambang again, I would definitely stay there once more.

Rustic and Relaxed. We had the most wonderful visit. My talk most about there stay here, more than the five star resort we also enjoyed on our trip. Food is fantastic, coffee amazing! Saro is a kind man who clearly loves his country and family. He also likes people/ and this is evident in his interactions with others. Family meal time was made all the better by our fellow guests whose company and conversation were delightful. As an ethical option, my heart is full. I felt safe, welcomed and cared for.

The family that‘s running the lazy mango is just amazing! The kids are lovely (i played with the girl for at least one hour). I felt welcome and as a part of the family! I got an amazing homemade dinner and ate with the whole family together! It was a great and absolute local experience! The bed was comfortable! They‘re also offering tuktuk tours around the city! We booked a double room with private bathroom and it was clean, comfortable and very spacious. The AC worked very well too. The rest of the facilities were also great, the common area has hammocks, good wifi, and a cafe that is open all day. The food was the best we ate in town. If you are taking a night bus to your next destination, they keep your luggage during the day and even have showers so you can shower before getting on the bus. The service here was super nice and welcoming :) I definitely recommend staying here!
