Wilpattu Mookalan Resort er staðsett í Habawewa, 38 km frá Kumbichchan Kulama Tank og 39 km frá Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. Boðið er upp á ókeypis reiðhjól og garðútsýni. Perfect location 2 mins walk from the entrance to the national park. Lovely attentive hosts, the Mrs is an excellent cook and we ate like kings for our two night stay - breakfasts simple and tasty, dinner an enormous rice and curry spread that could've fed and army, and the lunch box we had on our safari was a tiffin full of delicious fried rice and curry with loads of snacks and drinks. The safari our hosts organised was excellent, just the two of us in the jeep and a driver/guide who could spot an ant from a mile away. Unfortunately no leopards for us but incredible birdlife, and various other animals (spotted and barking deer, warthogs, crocs, mongooses, grey langurs etc).. They also organised very reasonably priced transfers between our accommodations afterwards. There's also a nice loop walk near the lake close to the accommodation for an evening stroll. Highly recommend this place for your time in Wilpattu.

The location is amazing, it felt like waking up in a little paradise with the singing and you can have a free safari just waking up a couple of meters down the road. The area is extremely safe and friendly and there are few small shops which are super convenient. On the top, the hosts, a really nice Sri Lankan family, were amazing, they prepared me a nice breakfast at the treehouse, picked me from the bus station and also drove me back early in the morning. And lastly they gave me home produced mangos. Highly recommended if you want to relax and enjoy nature.

Mr Kalhara is very kind and thoughtful, it was pleasant to stay in his house! Breakfast was very good! Room is super clean. Big bed , clean bedclothes, normally working ac and fan, good hot water! Best recommendations, just book and stay here if it's possible🙂

Golden Ray er fallega staðsett í miðbæ Anuradhapura og býður upp á verönd, loftkælingu, ókeypis WiFi og flatskjá. Gistirýmið er með garðútsýni og svalir. The owner was so lovely and diligent in making sure we had a comfortable stay. He also made us breakfast ready at 430am to take with us to the safari, including coffee in an insulated flask. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The small touches like including a mosquito coil at our table at our second breakfast was much appreciated!

Meegahapokuna Resort býður upp á gistirými í 4,4 km fjarlægð frá miðbæ Anuradhapura og er með garð og verönd. Það er sérinngangur á gistihúsinu til aukinna þæginda fyrir þá sem dvelja á staðnum. It's a fabulous place to stay. Wonderful environment with excellent hospitality. Can enjoy bird watching at the pond and the paddy fields. I highly recommend this place.

Oleena Home Stay er staðsett í Habarana, 11 km frá Pidurangala-klettinum og 12 km frá Sigiriya-klettinum, og býður upp á garð- og garðútsýni. I’ve stayed at Oleena Homestay before and loved it, so I’m back again. I like the serenity of the place set among trees and plants and bird songs. And the hosts, Jeewa and Masha are wonderful people with their lovely daughter Oleena. The breakfast were sumptuous and they are able to arrange savoury lunch and dinner 😋. Masha is a great cook. 😍 The garden rooms come with your own private balcony. One may have the food at the balcony or at the nice airy dining hut. Jeewa was able to arrange trips around the area. Excellent hospitality. 😊

VISU VILLA Hotel er staðsett í Habarana og býður upp á gistirými með sundlaug með útsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði fyrir gesti sem koma akandi. We had a great stay at Visu Villa. Ruwan is a great host who is very kind and helpful. He showed us nice places around Habarana and told us more about the way of live. The room is big and the bed is very comfortable. Also the pool is nice and refreshing. We can recommend the elephant safari. It was beautiful and they go when it is not so busy. The workers who did the safari with us even made an aftervideo. We totally recommend Visu Villa!

We had an amazing host, Wasanta.He arranged a car from Colombo when we realized there are no trains due to long running engineering work. The car driver, Lailith, was friendly, knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. The homestay itself was comfortable and we'll located to visit local historical sites. We ate breakfast and dinner here each day...vegetarian on our request. All delicious and authentic Sri Lankan. The room had a mosquito net and ac. There was free water provided from a water dispenser in the communal area. Lailith also drove us in his tuk tuk to Minitale and around ancient Anuradhapura. His knowledge really added to the experience. Wasanta was equally knowledgeable, spoke excellent English and was very approachable. He arranged a safari to Wilpattu National Park. He taxied us there and back, arranged an excellent safari jeep driver with homemade breakfast and lunch provided. The highlight was seeing a leopard but also lots of other species of animal. Wasanta also arranged a taxi to Haberana with a wonderful Dambulla excursion on the way. We would highly recommend the homestay.

The homestay was just like being at home so comfortable shared lounge and kitchen bonus we were there all by ourselves perfect, the family were so lovely food was awesome. We rented a tuktuk and went into the local town and spent time with the locals it was amazing we were the only tourists around recommend. Don't hesitate to stay here the family also did our laundry

Most days, we ended up having breakfast and dinner at the resort, where the food was among the best we had in recent stays on the island.
