This is hospitality akin to a five star resort. We booked last minute due to our original accommodations having been flooded due to heavy rains. Mr. Ajith waited up for us late at night, welcomed us into his home so we can have a late dinner, and brought us lemon juice straight from his lemon tree. He prepared a delicious multi-course breakfast, helped us with our bags, and communicated with our tuk tuk driver so they knew where we were going. We really felt so special being a guest at the Tide’s Tale and wished we could have stayed longer. The room is simple, but exceptionally clean. Plus the bed was extremely comfortable. Thank you for your hospitality, Mr. Ajith. You’ve warmed our hearts!

Everything. the room was really nice with my own balcony. the bathroom was spacious and clean. the owner was very nice and helpful. Honestly I have no complaints. The place was perfect.

I can't express how happy I was with my stay. The host is amazing, she is so kind and welcoming. Her whole family were an amazing host. She made sure I had the best time there. The view was perfect along with the effort she took to prepare an elaborate srilankan breakfast. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Galle must stay here. You get the amazing host, amazing room with a view and a private-ish beach to your self.

Value for money. Location .private beach , too peaceful and luxurious. Foods are extremely delicious and so friendly and welcoming the owners Nd caretakers were. Had an amazing stay there. Highly recommended

Very friendly people! This place is a 20 mins walk from the fort and is situated in a quiet, village-like area. The room was very comfy with a good bed and an efficient and quiet AC.

The owner is a really nice guy and also the man who runs the place. Helpful, kind, and makes tasty breakfast. Speciality that there was a peacock in the garden. :)

The place is beautiful and peaceful, very clean and the service is amazing. The manager and the staff make you feel super welcome and make everything easy and possible. Perfect location by the beach. Definitely recommend!

Susanna and Tusharo (please excuse me if I’m misspelling the names :) were wonderful hosts. Welcoming and informative. It really felt like our own house. Spotless clean, equipped with everything a traveler needs, beautiful nature around, a garden well kept. Another great thing is the hosts really care about animals and Tusharo shared fascinating information about the connection local people share with the sea turtles (we got lucky and swam with them). The beach has some great surf. Would love to come back and stay more.
