The weather wasn’t kind to us but we did get one morning when we were able to do the tea experience. The best part for me was the food - they prepared some wonderful gluten free Sri Lankan meals for me which was the best food I had in our 3 week trip. Dave is very engaging and we enjoyed our chats with him.

He is a safe driver who showed me many places per day in his comfortable car and she cooked fantastic meals for me with fresh herbs and spices out of their own ‘jungle’. They are a lovely and honest family, the best hosts during my world-travel :-) Also: the place is a gem in the mountains, beautiful decorated and with a clean pool. I felt really at home here.

Pokój bardzo duży, przestronny, wyposażony w szafę i dodatkowe meble takie jak stolik, krzesła, wieszak na ręczniki. Łóżko duże wygodne z moskitierą. Łazienka czysta z gorącą wodą pod prysznicem. Pokój i pościel czysta pachnąca. W cenę noclegu wliczone śniadanie lokalne na życzenie gościa. Zostały dla nas przygotowane potrawy o jakie poprosiliśmy, wszystko było świeże, pyszne. Do posiłku najlepszy sok z papai jaki mieliśmy okazję wypić na Sri Lance. Do posiłku owoce kawa, herbata. Gospodarz niezwykle miły, uczynny, dobra komunikacja w języku angielskim. Bardzo pomógł nam z samochodem, który wymagał pilnej naprawy, pomimo późnej pory znalazł osobę która nam pomogła, poświęcił swój czas, zupełnie bezinteresownie, nie chciał żadnej gratyfikacji za tak dużą pomoc. Niezwykłe miejsce klimatyczne prowadzone przez cudownego człowieka. Serdecznie polecam.

It’s a little off the beaten track, but well worth it for the cosy, boutique-style atmosphere that feels more like a homestay. The staff were incredibly attentive, making our experience even more special. The pool overlooks the mountains, creating one of the most breathtaking backdrops I’ve seen. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely hot shower and great water pressure. The real highlight was the staff—so friendly, attentive, and genuinely interested in making our stay perfect. We enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and the amazing, varied dinners prepared by a talented in-house chef. Nothing was too much trouble! A few sun loungers by the pool would have been nice (as there are only chairs or grass), but otherwise, it was perfect! This isn’t ideal for those just passing through or using their room as a base, as dinner each evening seems to be expected. It was perfect for us, but if you plan to be out all day or prefer to eat elsewhere, this may not be the best fit. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This 1930s bungalow is sprawled across 98 acres of a tea plantation, at the foot of the Knuckles Mountain Range. We booked the accommodation at the last minute. It's a lovely place with a beautiful view nestled between the tea fields. The old house is tastefully furnished, with very friendly staff and an excellent kitchen. There is a private waterfall on the estate that is truly worth visiting. We were very satisfied and would return anytime.
