Family was wellcoming us like our own. Home made dinner were so delicious. Also we had an oportunity to spend time with his family and serve food for the monks in the temple. These memories we will never forget, this all experience was so so special. I reccomend to everybody who wants to spend chill time outside of touristic Ella.

This was our second visit to Mailagama Cinnamon Residence and we were truly happy to see again the owners of the hotel, Indira and her husband. The hotel is located in a picturesque place among green rice fields. We loved walking around the area - there are large lakes nearby, and there are few people around, but an incredible number of peacocks. A real kingdom of peacocks. The room was clean and spacious, with a balcony with a great view. There was also a big shared terrace to work online or to do yoga. The fans helped to cope with the heat, which was important for us. We really liked the Srilankan food at the hotel - delicious and served with great elegance. Manager Inbaraj was always attentive and helped us with any questions. On his advice, we visited two temples - Rock Temple where you can see dozens of funny monkeys and Kataragama Maha Devalaya. Both places are interesting and atmospheric, especially the latter, which is famous for its festivals throughout the country. We hope to come back here next year to see the beauty of the nature and to feel the special friendly atmosphere.

Objekat Nobel Regency, koji se nalazi u gradu Bibile, na 46 km od znamenitosti Nacionalni park Maduru Oya, nudi smeštaj sa vrtom, besplatnim privatnim parkingom i terasom. the entrance to the Regency is unusual as it is behind the main buildings along the street and you go through an underpass to get there. however once there, it feels like you are on a tiny island away from the lively city center. The owner, Ruin, is a man who knows how to answer your questions honestly and accurately. He knows the area and is motivated to create a friendly comfortable, clean, and safe hotel environment. You also have privacy, good food, and can lounge outside under shady roofs. the rooms are spartan but clean and have internet viable monitors. the price including an excellent breakfast was about 11 EUs. Ruin helped my son get a nice pair of pants because my son had ripped his jeans. He also helped arrange a tuk tuk to take us to an old friend of mine who was living in the region. This is an A+ hotel in spirit and actuality. Each room has its own fairly private area where you can stretch out and read a book under a shady roof.

Objekat Mayka's luxury holiday homes and Safari Thanamalwila se nalazi u gradu Tanamalwila, na 31 km od znamenitosti Nacionalni park Udavalave, a nudi nepušačke smeštajne jedinice, vrt, besplatan WiFi... Big room and bathroom with space to eat (so we could eat in our room instead of the restaurant upstairs, which was very cute tho...). Best wifi we had during our trip. Great location for Lunugamvehera Safari (we did not book it with them, but it seemed like we could because they also had a safari jeep). The owner speaks dutch and is very nice! We arranged a well priced tuktuk with her, that took us to Dickwella at 7 pm after our safari (about 2.30-3h drive). We enjoyed our stay and definitly recommend when visiting the Lunugamvehera side of Yala national park. Glad there was a restaurant in the hotel, because there did not seem to be much in the area (we didn't mind tho, we were only here for the safari :))

We, my girlfriend and I, have experienced our stay as a wonderful journey. When we arrived, we were faced with a closed gate, but within seconds the owner arrived. After checking in, we entered the room – perfect! A nice big bed, a clean and spacious bathroom, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and everything you could need! After having a little chat, the hotel owner asked about our plans. We mentioned that we came for the nature and tranquility, and without hesitation, he offered to show us around the area. This was the start of an experience we will never forget. 🙏 First, we went to a small waterfall, very local with no tourists – just some local youngsters hanging out who even offered us a beer. Then he took us to Diyaluma Falls – what a massive waterfall that was! He offered us lunch, which he had made himself! A sandwich we’ll never forget; it was incredibly delicious. Next, we visited Buduruwagala Rock Carvings, where the owner introduced us to Buddhism. The place was surrounded by nature – trees, plants, birds – pure enjoyment. We thought we were heading back to the hotel, but nothing could be further from the truth. We visited real monks, where we received blessings and a white bracelet from an elderly monk. They also offered us boiled corn – so tasty! After the visit, we continued back to the hotel. On the way, we ran into a friend of the owner, who invited us to their home. When we arrived, the whole family was there to meet us. What kind and friendly people! They offered us tea and chocolate biscuits, and my girlfriend even received a gift! It gave us such a happy feeling, something we will cherish forever. ❤️ Then it was time to head back to the hotel – or so we thought. Instead, we went elephant spotting! Yes, you read that right – real wild elephants! It got quite late, but we spotted several wild animals, including both a male and female elephant. This, too, will stay with us forever.

Objekat Forest Tree Top Holiday Resort nudi smeštaj, restoran, vrt, terasu i bar i nalazi se na 36 km od znamenitosti Hram Kataragama. The place is in the amazing location, the owner is super helpful and welcoming and they made us the best food we had in sri lanka!

Objekat Ethili Lake view & Safari Camp je smešten na 47 km od znamenitosti Most Nine Arches Bridge u Demodari, a u ponudi ima smeštaj u kome su vam na raspolaganju vrt, terasa i posluga u sobi. Peaceful and quiet in the middle of the forest. Wild animals all around. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Service and people were fantastic.
