Situated in Waikkal, within 1.3 km of Kammala Beach and 10 km of St Anthony's Church, Ging Oya Lodge offers accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, pool with a view and free bikes. Tranquil location, perfect for a few days relaxing. Evening buffet was delicious. We stayed at beginning of rainy season & the staff were so thoughtful, even bringing gumboots to our room so our feet wouldn’t get wet walking to the restaurant area for breakfast.

Set in Kalpitiya, Agro Village Resort, Kalpitiya offers accommodation with seating area. This property offers access to a terrace, darts, free private parking and free WiFi. Really cool tree house rooms on the peninsula. The host and cook is amazing and he makes delicious meals. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom is partially open air which was really cool. The hammocks and tables made it a peaceful haven. The pool was still being made when I went but it will be a really nice addition. I highly recommend this place.

Set in Wilpattu, The Backwaters Lodge offers accommodation with seating area. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Backwaters was a lovely spot on the doorstep to the western gate of Wilpattu. They organised a game drive for us (where we saw lots), a river trip and boat ride to our next destination. The rooms and grounds are full of nice, environmentally friendly touches, and the meals are great. Since the centre of the park is a little ways from this gate, a full day game drive turned out to be better than a half day - and allowed usto see lots of elephants at the end of the day.

Situated in Puttalam, Just Inn features accommodation with free private parking. Towels and bed linen are offered in the homestay. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Lovely owner used as a convenient stop off point for one night. Excellent value for money.

Set in Kalpitiya in the Puttalam District region, Dili's Homestay has a balcony. This homestay provides a garden as well as a terrace. Dili and Roshan and their family where treating us as their family members. We felt immediately at home at their place. We enjoyed fantastic meals prepared in their own little restaurant. Each meal was prepared with passion! The last evening we enjoyed at a festival together what was a very special moment for us to dive into Sri lankian culture. We recommend them with great pleasure and we wish them all the best for their future plans.

Really friendly and helpful owner! Felt really welcome there. Right next to the beach. Would definitely stay there again.

Set just 1.2 km from Kammala Beach, holidays hotel offers accommodation in Dummaladeniya East with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Totally exceeded our expectations! Even better than the photos and super friendly people treat you just like family. Such a clan and nicely decorated place and super comfortable beds, comforter and fluffy pillows on a soft bed. just what we needed! Also about as close as you can get to the rickshaw run start line so was a super location for us. No hot water but we didn’t even miss it.
