The rooms are clean, spacious and have a private bathroom. Concerning the food, the host left no wishes unfulfilled. There was even freshly baked bread, which comes with every meal. We felt safe and welcomed and strongly recommend this place to experience real Moroccon hospitality in Azilal.

I had the pleasure of staying at Gîte Marbie, and it was an unforgettable experience. Slimane and his mum were the warmest and most welcoming hosts I’ve ever encountered. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel right at home with their genuine hospitality and kind attention to every detail.

We were a group of 4 friends crossing the High Atlas by foot! After we slept a few days in mountain shelters and caves we made it to Megdaz and it felt like heaven! Mohammed picked us up with a car and brought us to Dar Megdaz. And it was like heaven for us. Mohammed is such a nice person, he showed us around the village and explained us every part of Berber culture. His mother cooked for us and we had the most delicious food of all our Morocco trip. Mohammed and his family are so warm and friendly people! And the guest house was really beautiful, the terrace with a nice view and the comfy beds. If you come to the High Atlas, Dar Megdaz should be a priority on the list for you!
