The room was a dream, nothing more to ask for. The pool was so pleasant and nice for a first bath in the morning. The view on the terrace provides stunning sunsets. And: Probably the most pleasant and welcoming host you could wish for. It’s a no-brainer! Definitely recommending this one.

Great views from the two bedroom unit. Super friendly staff. Apartment was so comfy we didn’t want to leave !

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool and views of mountain, Shanti Ghar Guest House is a recently renovated guest house set in Tamarin, 1.7 km from Black River Beach. The hosts have been generous with advice and experience support, while also kind and active involved in making us comfortable at all times. They proactively provided catering for our nutritional requirements and we really appreciated the dinner together with a lively community experience, very tasty and inclusive. In general the guesthouse offered a good welcoming environment, the rooms especially were spotless clean. We loved all the pets! All the cats and dogs are super well behaved and quiet and we enjoyed their cuddles.

We enjoyed the great hospitality from Cody. Car rental with Cody is provided at an unbeatable price (brand new). We were here for work and coming back in the evening we had our massage and hammam sessions organised.

A recently renovated guest house in Flic-en-Flac and within 1.2 km of Flic en Flac Beach, Maison Tropical features pool with a view, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi. This was hands down the best experience we could have had in Mauritius. It’s an absolute gem hidden in a residential area near the Flic en Flac beach. A real tropical oasis, with sooo much style and character. Three private maisonette suites, equipped with everything you could ask for. And an exceptional cleaning service every day. But the best is by far the ultra-sweet & caring owners, Polina & Joao - they had allll the tips for us and were so caring. THANK YOU! Can’t wait to come back

Set in Rivière Noire, 1.6 km from Albion Public Beach and 11 km from Domaine Les Pailles, Chez Emma offers accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. Superb accommodation and gorgeous, varied, generous breakfasts. Room large, bed comfortable, constant hot water for shower and usefully quiet air-conditioning. With a car the new Albion Shopping Centre (only with a supermarket open when we visited) is a mere minute's drive away and the beach a few minutes further. To top it the hosts are wonderfully hospitable. Accommodating and offering assistance at all times. Hope to be back next time we're in Mauritius.
