The moment we arrived, we experienced above and beyond hospitality. We were picked up from the bus station upon our arrival and taken to our room. The facilities were clean and when we asked for blankets due to the cold weather, the response was very quick. The wifi is good. The masala tea is great and the organisation of activities was very seamless. The guides we had kept us safe for our two day walking safari trip. We had very knowledgeable guides who were passionate about their profession and extremely professional (Tilak and Som). They answered any and every question we had. I really do recommend spending the night during the safari as you get to experience the sunset and the nighttime right by the jungle. We saw elephants, rhinos, bears, loads of different exotic birds, peacocks, monkeys, etc. We were two girls with our two guides and we felt very safe and that the guides are in control. Upon our return, we spent one more night in town and then the owner kindly took us to the bus station. I would come back 100% and recommend to friends and family. A rhino even came to chill at the property early in the morning.

This was my second time staying at Tara Guesthouse! Great atmosphere and accommodation from Vicky and his family! They make sure you have a great stay and enjoy your time in the Chitwan National Park area! This is the only place I will stay while in Sauraha! Could not recommend this guesthouse enough!

Here, Hari can take you to do yoga, take you on daily jungle adventures, and cook for you, hahaha 😌. His family is also lovely and will take care of everything for you. The jungle is amazing, and I really love it there. You can see many different wild animals, such as rhinos, deer, and various kinds of birds. I hope you can spot a tiger! The houses here are all built by Hari himself—he’s really impressive! The stay is also very comfortable ☺️. You can lie on the floor and bask in the sun, listen to music in a hammock, and just relax here. It’s so soothing.

Comfortable beds, warm water, the food was amazing and the hosts were so friendly and helpful. The owner took us everywhere we needed in his jeep for no extra cost. Really recommend this place!
