The bed was so comfortable! Very private. Great little walk to the Stone Store. We loved looking out the big windows into the garden and eating on the deck. A really relaxing place to stay.

We loved our stay at Russell and Karen's charming house. The view is breathtaking, and the quaint little town of Russel offers a peaceful atmosphere with plenty of excellent dining options. Karen is an incredible hostess—her breakfasts are delightful, and her beautiful home is truly a gem. We recommend this place to anyone looking for that little extra touch of Paradise. Staying at Paradise on the Strand is an experience not to be missed!

Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting the bay of islands, which was one of my favorite places in New Zealand. We had one room with a lot of area, and another with very little area, so that was interesting.
