The whole estate is beautiful and unique and we really enjoyed our stay. The garden is also exceptionally beautiful and we enjoyed walking around. Also we took a taxi with Whanganui Taxi Company (Joseph) into town for drinks in the evening, which was easy and worked well.

Breakfast was continental with 3 different types of cereal and other amenities. We would detour out of our way to stay here again! Even got a spot in the garage for my rental car...can't beat that! Great value for the price.

Don't be put off by the name, this is pleasant accomodation and better than some that I've I have stayed at in the sub $100 price range. Everything is as it should be, it's clean and comfortable. The room was large and well decorated and had tea making facilities (although I didn't like the blends offered).

The Pod is beautifully set up with all the amenities you require. We were generously welcomed with home baking and a bottle of wine. Set in tranquil country surroundings you can enjoy the indoor/outdoor flow and the beach close by. The beach is excellent. Richard and Christine our hosts are a lovely, welcoming couple. Loki their dog was also adorable. If you are looking for a space to unwind, relax, to breathe in the peacefulness we fully recommend the Pod. This gem is not for party-goers. The attention to detail and the little extras provided make this place stand out. We can't wait to stay here again 😊
