Situated in Takaka in the Tasman region, Labyrinth Gardens Guest House offers accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. The host greeted us and made us feel at home right away. The amenities were excellent, and the laundry machine was just what we needed mid-way through our trip to New Zealand. The gardens were beautiful, and the room was spacious and comfortable. I would come back and stay here again in a heartbeat if I am ever in the area.

Our hostess, Lee, was wonderful and friendly and the cabins and bathrooms were nicely appointed. Breakfast and chatting with our hostess and other guests were the highlight of our stay! Quiet and off the main road.

Situated in Motueka in the Tasman region with Motueka Saltwater Baths nearby, Cozy Glamping Cabins features accommodation with free private parking. Really cosy room and comfy bed. As the name describes it (glamping), the room is very small but the bed is comfy and the linen was really nice. The description lists the accommodation as a shared bathroom but I had it all to myself (along with kitchenette and laundry) which was certainly nice for this solo traveller! I later learnt that for the moment, the individuals or group who have booked have exclusive use of the bathroom which you’re not sharing it with strangers (there are two other glamping cabins). Everything was immaculately clean. The accommodation is on the edge of town but I liked the location as it’s closer to the coast and a swimming spot. Communication with the owner was fab, she even suggested a few dinner spots which was thoughtful.

Located in Appleby and only 15 km from Christ Church Cathedral, Nelson, Berryfields 64 provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. It was amazing, all was supper new, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a great touch. Simply perfect, exactly what we needed

Everything was so nice. The host was very warm and helpful and the accommodation had everything and was beautiful decorated and extremely clean...totally loved everything. Highly recommended

Located within 15 km of Christ Church Cathedral, Nelson and 16 km of Trafalgar Park in Richmond, Hillview Homestay provides accommodation with seating area. Arrived tired and hot having walked from town but Andrea quickly gave me a cup of tea and the offer of dining in which I gratefully accepted. Felt like a home from home

Featuring a hot tub, Kea Ridge King Ensuite Room is located in Riwaka. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Everything! The location is a little remote and the driveway is a steep gravelroad with some sheep waiting or you from time to time, but it's absolutely worth the climb! The views are breathtaking! The jaccuzi on the terrace with a view down to Able Tasman NP is the best way to close a day. The shared kitchen and living area is huuuuuge with even a pool table included. There are also a washing maschine and a dryer you could use. And last but not least, the hosts are really lovely people you'd like to meet! This was our best stay in 3 weeks on the South Island. We'd definitely book again!
