I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel in Nizwa, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, Adnan, the host, made us feel right at home with his warm hospitality and attention to detail. His knowledge of the area was incredibly helpful, offering us great recommendations for local sights and activities. The hotel itself was beautifully designed, with a perfect mix of traditional Omani charm and modern comforts. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night after a day of exploring. Breakfast was a delight, with a variety of local dishes and international options that catered to all tastes. The hotel’s location is also fantastic – it’s close to the historic Nizwa Fort and the local souq, making it an ideal base for sightseeing. Overall, the experience was exceptional, and Adnan’s personalized service truly made our stay memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nizwa – it’s a gem in the heart of Oman!

Situated in Al Ḩamrāʼ, 44 km from Nizwa Fort, Al Hamra Mountain View provides air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. Nice little traditional house turned hotel, super friendly and welcoming staff! Got coffee and dates as we walked in, we were shown to our rooms and as we were heading for dinner we met the owner who explained everything down to the family history to us! Really nice place, would definitely recommend staying here! And we got a little leaving gift as well!

Featuring city views, Alaqur View Inn نزل واجهة العقر is set in Nizwa, around 400 metres from Nizwa Fort. Excellent customer service. Was greeted immediately with coffee and dates, someone took my luggage, they asked about finding the place and parking and this was all repeated when I left - someone took my luggage with me to the car. Rooms are immaculately clean and gorgeous, fantastic rooftop to view the surrounding city and a very snappy keyfab system to enter the building and the rooms. True 5 star experience while maintaining a family atmosphere at a very affordable price!

45 km from Nizwa Fort, Bait Al Aali Guesthouse is located in Al Ḩamrāʼ and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The property features quiet street views. Beautifully renovated classic Omani house. It was our favourite place we stayed during our trip in Oman, and hope to be back again soon. Great dinner and incredible breakfast spread. Owner gave us good local recommendations of what to see in and around Al Hamra. Locally-sourced and all natural soaps in the bathrooms were a perfect added touch. Would recommend this as a must stay for any friends who ask for recommendations for Oman!

The owner’s brother, Faisal, was very kind and helpful. He even drove us to a beautiful newly opened museum. His hospitality, so famous for Omanis, was fabulous.

Located in the village of Misfat Al- Abriyeen in the state of Al-Hamra, Al Misfah Hospitality Inn is about 200 kilometers away from Muscat. We have stayed one night in a big family room. What a great experience! Hosts are so nice. The hotel is authentic and greatly renovated. The owner is amazing. He is a great inspiration to keep history alive. He gave a lot of advices and stories. The owner invited us to visit his own museum in the house of his grand father. Dining and breakfast terrasse is incredible. The view is gorgeous. Next to the hotel, the trail leads you in 30 minutes to wadi natural swimming pools.

44 km from Nizwa Fort, Al Hamra Guest House is a recently renovated property located in Al Ḩamrāʼ and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and parking on-site. We loved this place! It smelt so clean and was so clean the moment we stepped foot inside. There js a communal kitchen, but we also had a fridge in our room. There was a beautiful place in the back to sit and relax. Hamed arranged a tour for us to Jabal Shams and it was so convenant and fantastic and well priced. Honestly this place exceeded my expectations.

Sunset Sky features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Misfāh, 48 km from Nizwa Fort. With city views, this accommodation provides a balcony. Sunset sky is really an amazing place to stay while visiting Misfat al Abriyyin region. The view from the terrace was exceptional! Room was very specious and clean and host was super friendly and helpful when it comes to nearby attractions. We also tried an authentic delicious Omanian dinner served by the host at our terrace.

Location is absolutely fantastic, right above the village, with private parking. The rooms are spacious and clean and the view is amazing from the rooms, too. We were happy to find a room with 3 single beds for the kids. The staff went above and beyond with every occasion. Omani hospitality lives up to the expectations. The perfect place to rest after a fantastic hike.
